Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: September 7, 2026
Welcome to EATL. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the services provided through eatl.co.tz. By accessing our website, requesting a quotation, making a booking, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. About Our Services
EATL provides travel and tourism services, including safari experiences, tours, accommodation arrangements, transfers, and other travel-related services in Tanzania, Kenya, and selected East African destinations.
Our services are subject to availability and may involve third-party suppliers such as hotels, lodges, camps, airlines, transport providers, and local activity operators.
2. Enquiries and Quotations
All enquiries and quotations are provided based on the information available at the time of preparation.
A quotation may include accommodation, transportation, activities, meals, park fees, guides, transfers, or other services depending on the itinerary selected.
Prices are not guaranteed until a booking has been confirmed and the applicable payment has been received.
We reserve the right to amend a quotation if supplier prices, government fees, taxes, park fees, exchange rates, or other relevant costs change before confirmation.
3. Booking Confirmation
A booking becomes confirmed only after EATL has received the required payment and issued confirmation.
Availability is subject to the confirmation of hotels, lodges, camps, transport providers, and other service suppliers.
Where a requested service is unavailable, we may offer a suitable alternative of a similar standard.
4. Payments
Payment requirements will be communicated at the time of booking.
The amount required may vary depending on the itinerary, travel dates, accommodation, supplier requirements, and services included.
All payments must be made using the payment method and instructions provided by EATL.
A booking may be cancelled or released if the required payment is not received within the specified period.
5. Prices and Currency
Unless otherwise stated, prices are quoted in the currency specified in your quotation or booking confirmation.
Prices may be affected by changes in exchange rates, government taxes, conservation fees, park fees, fuel costs, accommodation rates, or supplier charges.
Any additional costs arising after confirmation will be communicated to the client where applicable.
6. Changes to Your Booking
Clients may request changes to their itinerary, accommodation, activities, dates, or other services.
Changes are subject to availability and may result in additional charges.
Any supplier cancellation or amendment fees resulting from a requested change may be charged to the client.
7. Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellation terms depend on the services booked and the policies of the relevant suppliers.
Cancellation charges may apply to accommodation, transport, park fees, flights, activities, guides, and other services.
Any eligible refund will be processed according to the applicable supplier policies and the terms communicated at the time of booking.
Some services may be non-refundable.
8. Travel Documents and Requirements
Clients are responsible for ensuring that they have all necessary travel documents before departure.
These may include:
Valid passports
Visas
Travel permits
Vaccination or health certificates where required
Travel insurance
Any other documents required by the relevant authorities
EATL can provide general travel information but is not responsible for a client’s failure to obtain the required documents.
9. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all clients obtain comprehensive travel insurance before travelling.
Insurance should, where appropriate, cover medical expenses, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation, lost or damaged baggage, delays, and other travel-related risks.
Clients are responsible for ensuring that their insurance provides adequate coverage for their planned activities and destinations.
10. Health and Fitness
Clients are responsible for informing EATL of any relevant requirements that may affect their ability to participate safely in planned activities.
Certain safari activities, walking tours, mountain trekking, and other experiences may require a reasonable level of physical fitness.
Clients should seek appropriate professional medical advice where necessary before travelling.
11. Accommodation
Accommodation is subject to availability and confirmation.
Where circumstances require, EATL may arrange alternative accommodation of a similar or higher standard.
Room types, facilities, meal plans, check-in times, and other accommodation conditions are subject to the policies of the respective property.
12. Transportation
Transportation arrangements may be provided by EATL or independent third-party transport providers.
Vehicle types may vary depending on the itinerary, road conditions, group size, destination, and availability.
Travel times are estimates and may be affected by weather, traffic, road conditions, wildlife, border procedures, or other circumstances beyond our control.
13. Safari and Wildlife Experiences
Wildlife sightings are naturally unpredictable.
Although our guides and team make every reasonable effort to provide excellent safari experiences, EATL cannot guarantee sightings of specific animals, migration events, or particular wildlife behaviour.
Safari routes and activities may also be adjusted when necessary for safety, conservation, weather, park regulations, or other operational reasons.
14. Third-Party Suppliers
Some services included in your itinerary may be provided by independent third parties.
EATL carefully selects service providers, but we are not responsible for circumstances caused directly by third-party suppliers that are outside our reasonable control.
Third-party services may also be subject to their own terms, conditions, cancellation policies, and operating procedures.
15. Force Majeure
EATL will not be liable for failure or delay in providing services where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Such circumstances may include natural disasters, severe weather, pandemics, government restrictions, political unrest, strikes, civil disturbances, road closures, border restrictions, wildlife-related incidents, technical failures, or other unforeseen events.
Where possible, we will work with clients and suppliers to find reasonable alternative arrangements.
16. Client Responsibilities
Clients are expected to:
Provide accurate booking and traveller information.
Follow applicable laws and regulations.
Respect local communities, cultures, wildlife, and the environment.
Follow instructions provided by guides and service providers.
Take reasonable care of personal belongings.
Behave responsibly throughout the trip.
EATL may take reasonable action where a client’s behaviour creates a safety risk or significantly affects other travellers or service providers.
17. Personal Belongings
Clients are responsible for their personal belongings, travel documents, valuables, and luggage during their trip.
EATL is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
We recommend keeping valuable items secure and carrying appropriate travel insurance.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.
22. Complaints
If you experience a problem during your trip, please notify your EATL representative or service provider as soon as reasonably possible.
Giving us an opportunity to address an issue while you are travelling may allow us to resolve it promptly.
