Simba Camp

Simba Camp is a mountain camp at 2,600 m on Mount Kilimanjaro, used as an overnight stop on the Rongai Route. It is the first camp on the route, reached after the walk from Rongai Gate through farmland and pine forest.

Guests sleep in tents set up by the crew, with meals in a dining tent and basic toilets at the site.

Rongai starts on the drier northern side of the mountain, so the camp is a quiet place with a gentle first day.
