Shira 2 Camp is a mountain camp at 3,850 m on Mount Kilimanjaro, used as an overnight stop on the Lemosho Route. It stands on the Shira Plateau after a relaxed walk across open terrain from Shira 1 Camp.
Guests sleep in tents set up by the crew, with meals in a dining tent and basic toilets at the site.
The gentle day helps the body adapt to higher altitude before the climb towards Lava Tower and Barranco.
