Barranco Camp is a mountain camp at 3,900 m on Mount Kilimanjaro, used as an overnight stop on the Machame, Lemosho, Umbwe and Northern Routes. It lies in a valley below the Barranco Wall, among giant groundsels.
Guests sleep in tents set up by the crew, with meals in a dining tent and basic toilets at the site.
The camp has views up to Kibo and is where routes meet, and the next morning starts with the climb of the Barranco Wall.
