Umbwe Cave Camp is a mountain camp at 2,850 m on Mount Kilimanjaro, used as an overnight stop on the Umbwe Route. It sits on a forested ridge and marks the end of the first, steep day on the route.
Guests sleep in tents set up by the mountain crew, with meals served in a dining tent and basic toilets provided at the site.
The camp is quiet and remote, and the Umbwe Route is known as one of the steepest and most direct ways up the mountain.
