Horombo Hut is a mountain hut at 3,720 m on Mount Kilimanjaro, used as an overnight stop on the Marangu Route. It is the largest hut settlement on the mountain and is used on both the ascent and the descent.
Accommodation is in shared A-frame huts with bunk beds, with a communal dining hall for meals. Facilities are basic, with toilets available and no showers.
The camp sits in the moorland zone with views towards Mawenzi and Kibo. Trekkers on the six-day itinerary spend an extra acclimatisation day here, with an optional walk to Zebra Rocks.
