Mweka Camp is a mountain camp at 3,100 m on Mount Kilimanjaro, used as an overnight stop on the Machame, Umbwe and Northern Routes. It is the descent camp on the Mweka side of the mountain, at the edge of the forest.
Guests sleep in tents set up by the crew, with meals in a dining tent and basic toilets at the site.
The camp is warmer and has more oxygen than the summit camps, and the last day is a descent through rainforest to Mweka Gate.
