Upon arrival or pick-up from your hotel, you will meet your safari guide and join a small group of fellow travelers before departing for Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a game drive through the park, famous for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. After exploring the park, you will drive to Karatu for dinner and relaxation.
After breakfast, depart from Karatu and drive towards Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy a game drive upon entering the Serengeti, searching for lions, elephants, cheetahs, and other wildlife across its vast plains.
Spend a full day exploring Central Serengeti, famous for its open grasslands and impressive concentration of predators. Enjoy game drives in search of lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and large herds of wildebeest and zebras. Experience the beauty of the African wilderness while your guide shares insights into wildlife behavior and the Serengeti ecosystem.
Optional activities (at extra cost):
Begin the day with a final game drive through Central Serengeti, taking the opportunity to spot wildlife you may not have encountered earlier. After exploring the park, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying scenic landscapes and wildlife sightings along the way. Arrive in the Ngorongoro area and prepare for the following day’s crater adventure.
After breakfast, descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive in search of lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and the endangered black rhino. Enjoy the spectacular scenery and remarkable wildlife diversity of this World Heritage Site, with a picnic lunch during your excursion. After the crater tour, drive back to Arusha or your agreed departure point, marking the end of your memorable Tanzania safari.
